Detailed Schedule

Day 1.

Pets! Sketching all the pets you can name; creating a portrait of your favorite pet. Pencil and pastels on paper.


Day 2.

Study of a bird. Acrylic on board.


Day 3.

Under the sea. Water animals and creatures. Watercolor on paper.


Day 4.

Sculpting. Choice of realistic animal or creating a chimera. Air-dry clay.


Day 5.

Project of a choice, media of a choice.

Refund policy:

We are not offering refunds for new purchases. However, full credit towards future bookings or transfer to another camp/class will be offered for any cancellations made up to 24 hrs before the camp or class start.

This session is great for all animal lovers out there! You will learn about animal forms, study different animal groups; learn technics for creating textures specific for different animals.

This camp will teach you:

  • Anatomy of animals

  • Animal movement

  • Representing the texture of fur and feathers

  • Basics of sculpting

  • Watercolor and acrylic painting techniques

  • Working with references

  • Creating original compositions from scratch

What is the teacher-student ratio? The teacher-student ratio is 6 to 1 in the camps for 6-10 year olds, and 7 to 1 in camps for 10-18 year olds. My child is 1 year younger than the camp age listed. Can she participate in the camp? Student 1 year younger than the camp age listed can attend the camp if the child is really into art in general and the camp topic in particular. Do you provide before and after class/camp care? Our school does not provide extended child care before and after classes. Due to limited space, please bring the kids only for specific time frame according to the class schedule you are registered for. Do you provide extended care? No, we do not provide extended care.
