Detailed Schedule
Day 1:
9:00am-12:00pm: Watercolor lesson, "Autumn Cat" (painting cat and exploring watercolor and mixed media techniques).
12:30-3:30pm: Making thanksgiving cards. (pencil, markers, watercolor, ink ).
Day 2:
9:00am-12:00pm: Painting Fall Landscape, Acrylics.
12:30-3:30pm: Sculpting mushrooms, acorns and owls. (Air dry clay, finishing with acrylic paint).
Day 3:
9am-12pm: Treehouse illustration (designing a fantasy house, material of the choice)
12:30-3:30pm: Creating a collage that tells a story. (using color paper and old magazines).
Refund policy:
We are not offering refunds for new purchases. However, full credit towards future bookings or transfer to another camp/class will be offered for any cancellations made up to 24 hrs before the camp or class start.
Fall! Students will create from scratch unique compositions in watercolor, acrylics, collage, mosaics, and mixed media techniques, learn about various fall traditions from around the world, and master traditional autumn crafts!
This camp will teach you:
Painting a landscape (acrylics):
mixing a desired color,
understanding areal and linear perspective,
brushwork,
final touches.
Painting Animals (watercolor):
animal anatomy
representing fur texture
Designing a unique treehouse from scratch.
Sculpting techniques.
Making a collage.
Frequently asked questions about this camp
What is the teacher-student ratio? The teacher-student ratio is 6 to 1 in the camps for 6-10 year olds, and 7 to 1 in camps for 10-18 year olds. My child is 1 year younger than the camp age listed. Can she participate in the camp? Student 1 year younger than the camp age listed can attend the camp if the child is really into art in general and the camp topic in particular. Do you provide before and after class/camp care? Our school does not provide extended child care before and after classes. Due to limited space, please bring the kids only for specific time frame according to the class schedule you are registered for. Do you provide extended care? No, we do not provide extended care.
